bring happiness to everyone involved.
Spay and Neuter Program
Dessin Animal Shelter IS making a Difference in Pet Overpopulation! Please be aware as of July 2, 2012, the price of Dessin Animal Shelter discounted spay/neuter vouchers will be $10. The program is a community service funded by private donations and grants. As a result, Dessin will sell up to 10 cat vouchers a month. Currently, no changes have been implemented to our discounted spay/neuter voucher program for dogs. To learn more about our program and how we’re fighting “pet overpopulation," click below.
Avoid a CATastrophe!4 is on May 28. $30 certificates for a spay or neuter of a cat and rabies vaccine on sale to Wayne County residents beginning May 4, 11 a.m. at Dessin Animal Shelter. Surgeries conducted through the EPAA mobile surgical van at Dessin Animal Shelter. Call (570) 253-4037 for details.

and humane educator Marlene Metzger is available to address groups on a
variety of topics related to Humane Education. Programs available for
all ages. Topics include, but are not limited to:

Licensing
Have you purchased your 2013 dog license? PA dog wardens are out in the community checking! Don't let your dog be caught without one! We have them on sale at Dessin. Annual are good through December 31. Or buy a lifetime license!
Pennsylvania residents are required to leave with a dog license. For details on pricing, contact your County Treasurer's Office.
